Free Crochet Pattern
This adorable doll is easy and fun to make. Using only a couple of supplies, she is the perfect project to create with your leftover yarn balls.
She is also a cute gift for younger girls, although any age will find it fun to play with her! This doll can be made quickly, so she can be an excellent last minute gift.

MATERIALS NEEDED:
Brown yarn
Navy blue yarn
Pink/red yarn
Tan yarn
Safety eyes (two of them!)
Stuffing
4.0 mm crochet hook
Scissors
FOR THE HEAD:
Use brown yarn for this part
R1 - Make a Magic Ring with 6 single crochets in it
R2 and R3 - All increase
R4 - single crochet, increase all around
R5 - all single crochet
Insert safety eyes between rounds one and two
Switch colors to navy blue yarn
R6 - all single crochet
R7 and R8 - follow this stitch pattern - single crochet, decrease, 2 single crochet, decrease...and repeat
Stuff the head
R9 and on - decrease until closed.
Tie off yarn
With navy blue yarn, Make a Magic circle with 6 single crochets in it
With slip stitch, crochet this piece onto the hair to make a bun
Tie a piece of red/pink yarn around the bun
FOR THE LEGS AND BODY:
Use red/pink yarn for this part
R1 - Make a Magic Ring with 5 single crochets in it
R2 - all single crochet
Switch colors to tan
R3 through R13 - all single crochet
Tie off yarn. Now, cut a piece of red/pink yarn and weave in into the bottom of the leg to make the ribbons above the shoe.
Repeat steps above to make the other leg.
Using red/pink yarn, use slip stitch to connect the two legs, the X on the ribbons facing forwards.
R1 through R7 - (crochet around the outsides of the legs) all single crochet
Switch colors to brown
R8 and R9 - all single crochet
stuff the body and neck
R10 - single crochet, decrease all around
attach the head to the neck using slip stitch
FOR THE SKIRT:
attach your red/pink yarn to the waist of the doll, and crochet around her waist for a round
R1 through R3 - all increase
Switch colors to navy blue
R4 - all single crochet
FOR THE ARMS:
Use brown yarn for this part
R1 - make a Magic Circle with 5 single crochets in it
R2 through R6 - all single crochet
Crochet the arm onto the body/neck using slip stitch
Repeat these steps to make the other arm
FOR THE SLEEVES:
Use red/pink yarn for this part
R1 - make a circle of single crochets around her neck just above her arms
R2 and R3 - all increase
Switch colors to navy blue
R4 - all single crochet
Tie off yarn
Cut a piece of navy blue yarn and insert in into a stitch in the front of the sleeves and tie it in a bow
