Melodykit07, if you do not have any stuffing or yarn to use here are some helpful substitutes:
Use shredded, used dryer sheets cut up old clothes instead of stuffing. You can use anything that is soft and can be cut or ripped up to stuff into crocheted pieces.
Instead of yarn, you may use twine, other strings, or thread for lace. These will not be as easy to crochet with, but they will work with hard work and patience! - Wonderwool
Hello, Pattern Princess! I noticed that you did not understand the half-double crochet stitch. Here are the basic instructions I can give you:
yarn over
insert the hook into the next loop from the hook
yarn over
pull through the next loop on the hook
yarn over
pull through the last three loops on the hook
