Circular Pillows

Free Crochet Pattern:

Lo and behold: My, amazing, miniature circular pillows! These pillows will look great on a doll couch or bed and can also be used as a pincushion! You can even attach them to a headband to make earmuffs. They can also be a wondrous addition to your furry friend's bed! These are just a few of a million uses for these stylish and fluffy pillows. MATERIALS NEEDED:

  • 6 mm crochet hook

  • medium weight yarn in desired color (I used blue)

  • Lion Brand Go For Faux yarn or fluffy yarn in desired color (I used pink and orange alternating fluffy yarn)

  • medium weight yarn in desired color (I used dark blue)

  • Stuffing

  • Scissors

ABBREVIATIONS:

  • dc (double crochet)

  • dc inc (double crochet increase)

  • dc2tog (double crochet 2 stitches together)

  • ch (chain stitch)

  • sl st (slip stitch)

  • sk (skip)

  • fo (fasten off)

  • Mr (magic ring)

FOR THE PILLOWS:

Start with medium-weight yarn, and stuff the pillow as you go.

r1- in mr, dc 12. (12 sts)

r2- dc-inc around. (24 sts)

r3 - dc-inc around. (36 sts)

Make a sl st

switch to faux fur yarn.

r4- (dc, dc2tog) around. (24 sts)

r5- dc2tog around. (12 sts)

Before the pillow is closed, be sure to stuff it!

r6- dc2tog around. (6 sts)

fo with a long tail, sew up the hole, and weave in the ends.

Crochet sc all around the edge of your pillow where you switched yarn. Use your dark blue yarn.
