Fluffy the Sheep

Free Crochet Pattern

Hello! I've finally made the pattern for this cutie! This is a moderately easy pattern to crochet, and the head and body are not made separately. This is designed for beginners, but anybody can do it! Get ready to make the most adorable, fluffiest, crocheted sheep. Fluffy makes a perfect snuggle toy for the night.

We didn't exactly have the material for a normal-looking sheep, but we did have blue, so I suppose it's better than green or orange. Below for the materials it does say black or blue yarn, and as you already know, that's for the body. This is said because you might like to make it look exactly like the one we made.

Hopefully, you find this pattern enjoyable, and if you have any questions or comments, please contact us at the comments page.

Thanks,

The CrochetAnyDay Team

Materials Needed:

Let's get started!

Abbreviations:

MG (magic Ring)

Ch (chain)

St (stitch)

Sc (single crochet)

Inc (increase)

Dec (decrease)

Note: BLO for whole sheep.

For the body and head:

R1: 6 sc in MG (6)

R2: inc in every st (12)

R3: sc all around (12)

R4 inc in every st (24)

R5-8: sc in every st (24)

This shows when I have just finished R7

R9: sc 3, dec

R10: sc 2, dec

Dec until body is closed.

Legs (make 4)

R1: in MG sc 4 (4)

R2: sc, inc all around (6)

R3: sc all around (6)

Now, start by ch 4, and insert a slst into thr BLO. This will create a frilly look, making the sheep fluffy.

This shows when I am almost a quarter way there to finishing the fluff part of the sheep. Now, I am going to cover the rest of the body in these chain stitches. Make sure to crochet them in between the legs as well!

For the ears:

Use black yarn for this

MG with 6 sc inside

Now attach the ear onto the body, and repeat this step to make the other ear

Congrats! You have finished the pattern!
